Artist Statement 

 I use dance to express joy, pain, self-examination and community through the lens of my blackness. I know how it important it is to see yourself reflected back to you in the way in which you see yourself. Growing up Dunham, I was blessed to have been groomed to continue a rich legacy where our black culture was celebrated. Dance is my thing, sharing our history and culture with the next generation is my purpose. I am walking in my purpose.
